Bodhea provides psychiatric care for adults 18 and over. Good psychiatric care starts with being understood. We take the time to learn your history, what you've tried, and what you're hoping for — then build a plan together and stay with you as it unfolds.
Psychiatric appointments are conducted by telehealth through our clinical partner, Journey Clinical. Therapy is available both in person at our Athens office and virtually, whichever suits you.
Because Bodhea offers therapy and psychiatric care under one roof, the people supporting you can actually talk to each other. That coordination is the difference between a stack of appointments and a single, coherent plan for feeling better.

A thorough first visit
Your first appointment is unhurried. We go through your history, what has and has not worked for you before, your goals, and anything else that helps us understand the whole picture — not just a checklist.
A plan built with you
From there we build a plan together and talk through the options in plain language, including what to expect and what to watch for. You leave knowing what the next step is and why.
Regular check-ins
Care continues with check-ins at a pace that fits you. We pay attention to how things are going, answer your questions, and adjust the plan as your needs change.
Care that talks to itself
Because therapy and psychiatric care live under one roof at Bodhea, the people supporting you can actually coordinate — so you get one coherent plan instead of a stack of disconnected appointments.
Medication management, done thoughtfully
Medication can be one part of feeling better — and it works best when someone is genuinely paying attention to how it's going. Our medication management is straightforward: an unhurried appointment, a clear plan, and regular check-ins to adjust as your needs change.
You are never just a prescription to us. The point of the regular check-ins is to keep the plan honest — to notice what's working, change what isn't, and keep you in the loop the whole way.
Flat fee
$250
per medication management appointment. No insurance runaround — you always know the cost up front.
Journey Clinical, our clinical partner, accepts insurance for the psychiatric portion of your care. Which plans are accepted varies, so the surest way to find out is to book a consultation and we will check your specific plan with you.
